Situated 14km east of Melbourne CBD, in the suburb of Box Hill South, these two side by side contemporary town homes sit on a wide allotment.

Each home features 4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, upstairs retreats, central courtyard, home office & open planned living area linked to an alfresco & landscaped private garden.

During the town planning process, we ran into quite a lot of objections from neighbours, largely due to the distinctive exterior design. However, through careful negotiations with Council & the Objectors, we were able to reach a reasonable compromize & obtain planning approval.

Our Clients wanted a unique design & to avoid the typical bland suburban townhouse look; brick on ground, render above with a hipped tile roof. Intended as their own PPR, they were willing to invest in quality materials, a rigorous design process, mid-level spec, carefully selected fixtures & finishes.

Internally, we collaborated closely with the Client to bring their dream home vision to life. Converting their extensive collection of inspirational pictures, wish-list & magazine clippings into a design tailored to their specific taste & budget.
