Located in the heart of Balwyn, this extension/renovation project was commissioned by a young family who had outgrown their existing residence and were seeking a forever home that could accommodate their evolving lifestyle.

Strategically utilizing the fall towards the rear of the site, the design team maximized the space by incorporating a new open living area, complete with a pool and covered alfresco. Additionally, semi-underground parking, a gym, and a theater room were also integrated into the floor below, enhancing the functionality and versatility of the home.

The first floor of the original home will be revamped including the installation of a new curved staircase and the creation of new wet areas. The extension added two new bedrooms, each with its own balcony, to meet the family's evolving lifestyle needs.

By merging functionality and aesthetics, this beautiful original home has been transformed into a harmonious and functional space, tailored to the specific needs of this young family ensuring the home remains functional and relevant for years to come.
