Another private Delve project with the aim to acquire an established dwelling and undergo a complete renovation to suit our lifestyle and taste.
We wanted to avoid a costly extension, focusing funds instead on re-doing the interiors and outdoor space.
The original layout of this home presented an excellent opportunity as a renovation project as it could be easily customized to fit our needs.
The core of the brief was to future proof the house, accommodate additional family members, have plenty of space for entertaining and to introduce a home office area.
The concept was to divide the house into two main spaces one to the front and one to the rear: work & play and a tranquil , private family space. These zones are separated by a central courtyard and passageway.
We wanted to keep the materials palette limited and muted, creating a comfortable atmosphere for rest. Soft timber oak floors & whites for walls and cabinets with brass accents.
